A literary work of short stories on varied themes. More than that, a work in a foreign language written by young brazilian students. In this present era, in which most of the young people only “browse” through social networks and use summarized sources to acquire information, coming across such an interesting written production, so creative and with such beautiful English, makes me renew hope in youth. To paraphrase one of the authors, reading these tales “became a symbol of hope and change, reminding everyone that true power lies in the ability to challenge expectations and embrace change.”

Priscila holds a degree in English Language from the State University of Paraíba. She is an English language teacher and a pedagogical coordinator at Yázigi Campina Grande. She is CELTA certified and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Applied Linguistics at the Federal University of Paraíba.

Tyler A. Bowman was raised in Pell City, Alabama. He is a 2011 graduate of Southeastern Bible College, now part of Carolina University. He has traveled to various parts of the globe. Since 2021, Tyler has resided in Vienna, Austria, where he works alongside a non-profit organization helping refugees integrate into Austrian society and culture.
